Preschool

The Pleasant Gap United Methodist Preschool was established in 1980. It is a non-profit, self-supporting preschool dedicated to the Christian ethic and the philosophy that a child learns best in an atmosphere of warm acceptance of his/her natural curiosity. Our goals are for each child to develop a positive self-image, a loving relationship with God and peers, and a readiness for kindergarten.

We provide an early literacy and math rich environment that promotes intellectual, physical and social/emotional growth. There are a wide variety of developmentally appropriate activities provided in an enjoyable and supportive atmosphere. We hope that your child will develop a love for learning and a positive attitude about what he/she can accomplish.

Our teachers are certified by the state of Pennsylvania and participate in continuing education classes in Early Childhood each year.
