Practical Dicipleship

Spiritual maturity doesn't happen by accident. The Key to a dynamic community of believers is a group of people who walk the walk and don't just talk the talk. We stress the power of prayer through intentional calls to prayer and fasting, and several opportunities for Biblical Study. Through small groups, sharing groups, and Dicipleship classes with relvant topics for today's needs. Pleasant Gap United Methodist Church is a church of the Word. We base our existence on the fact that the Bible is God's authoritive Word and contains absolute truth. The Bible is taught as a Book of TRANSFORMATION and not just information.

Personal Growth and Healing

We attempt to understand the complexity of people. We believe that God's power meets our needs on all levels of our personality. God wants to do more than the surface street cleaning of our lives, and desires to address the dark caverns of the sewers of our lives. New Starts are possible in all parts of our lives; spiritual, physical, relational, emotional, and psychological. Through teaching, preaching, and living out of God's love towards one another, healing and wholeness can be found and the abundant life experienced.

Preaching and Teaching

We offer relevant Biblical preaching to meet the needs of today's world through the ageless truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are unashamedly Jesus-Centered in all of our preaching and teaching and believe that there is no other way to experience abundant and eternal life except through faith in Jesus Christ as God's ONLY Son.
